Olga Korneeva

Olga has loved painting since a very young age, though she did not immediately pursue it as a career. After earning a law degree, her career took her to Brussels in 2015, where she finally dedicated herself to painting and began taking lessons from established artists. Soon, she devoted all her free time to her passion, and in 2018, she enrolled at the École des Arts d’Ixelles in Belgium.

Now a professional and fulfilled artist, Olga has been participating in exhibitions and competitions across Europe.

When she composes her paintings, Olga is mainly inspired by natural environments, especially when the auburn shades of autumn come to the fore. Whether she is depicting a country landscape, an urban setting or even a simple object in a dark room, it is the harmony of light and color that influences her touch and characterizes her style. Curious and versatile, the artist appreciates the abstraction of watercolor and the elegance of oil painting but also handles other techniques such as acrylic. A perfectionist, she never considers any of her paintings as finished, even when it is time to sign them. Through her works, Olga wishes to express and share her emotions towards nature rather than to represent it faithfully.
